There are links through to two other websites about our power crisis: Winterpower and EnergyWise. There seems to be quite a lot of overlap here. What I want to know is: if we have shallow lakes and can’t meet our power needs if the catchment areas don’t get enough rain (as in 2001 and this year) then why aren’t the power companies getting bigtime into wind power, solar power and other alternatives?
