Saw an excellent movie on Saturday night: Lawless Heart. Like Alan Ayckbourn’s 1974 “The Norman Conquests” this takes one pivotal event and examines it from the points of view of three different characters. Plot points are neatly woven together and certain visual cues were used to link one character to the next: lighting a cigarette, climbing down a drainpipe, a coconut. Worth seeing, and not just for the almost bleak marshes of Essex and the Isle of Man.
