Cheryl mentions getting a Belkin Voice Recorder for her iPod which reminds me that mine arrived a day or two before Christmas. Thanks to the timing I haven’t played with it much yet. I really need the device during my working year for taking some notes, but now it’s the summer holidays that pressure’s off for the moment.

My initial reaction was of some disappointment with the quality of the sound. I think I may have been holding it too close to my mouth though as the quality seemed better when I recorded a few words from my partner. It was very pleasing to see that the recordings are easy to access and play back on the iPod itself and that iTunes automatically puts them into a playlist.

In a pinch you can also use the device to listen to music and other items, though the sound isn’t specially good for music. This is going to be way more convenient than the other digital voice recorder I’ve been using.
