Flash card reader — I still want a BlueTooth camera, but until then, how about a flash card reader on the side of the PowerBook? Apple can take away my PCI slot if they like, but then I expect two flash card readers. Sure, I could hook up my camera with a USB cable, but then I have to remember where I put the cable, which I have not seen in months.

I haven’t used the PC Card slot in years, but am constantly plugging and unplugging stuff to use my compact flash card reader. And after all, compact flash and similar cards would be an excellent quick and dirty replacement for floppies.

This is one of the main reasons I went with a 15″ AlBook instead of a 12″–my CF card reader permanently sits in it. I don’t even think of it as a PC card slot; it’s just my CF card slot. I don’t even know where the USB cable is for my camera. It’s probably still in the box, as I doubt that I ever unpacked it.
