A client just queried:

I’ve had various people tell me not to put my email

address on my website (because of concerns about scripts harvesting email

addresses for spamming) — what do you reckon? (and if that is a

legitimate concern is there a way around it?)

I do put up my address and I deal with the spam. However, you could encode your e-mail address through the use of Character Entities, transforming your ascii email address into its equivalent decimal entity.
