Web Essentials 04

Web Essentials 04 is in Sydney 30 September to 1 October 2004. [Via: redemption through standards]

Web Essentials features Dave Shea (CSS Zen Garden), Doug Bowman (StopDesign, Wired, Blogger), Joe Clark (accessibility guru par excellence), as well as Australian experts in standards based development and accessibility, including experts from the Royal Blind Society, and the guy who sued SOCOG.

The conference will cover a broad range of standards based design and development issues and techniques, as well a web accessibility, in theory and in practice.

Be nice to go, and flights to Australia are fairly cheap these days, but it’s a lot of money all the same. Anyone know of any scholarships or the like?
