At a time when I haven’t touched my movie camera in months, still have some tapes from a looong time ago which I haven’t put together and am growing increasingly despondent about my still photography Tom Negrino points to The Sad Song, an amazing music video in QuickTime format (warning: 35MB download, but worth it).

It seems Fredo used the 15 seconds of 15fps silent jpeg movies he can make with his coolpix still camera to create this ingenious and highly appealing music video. Inspiration indeed! [Via: Backup Brain]

And as a trainer I know what’s wrong with my photography: once you start learning how to do something better you enter a period where everything gets worse for a while. That harder you try, the worse it gets. It’s a normal part of learning, but knowing that doesn’t lessen the frustration.
