Although I’ve always hand coded my sites and their associated CSS files I bought and have been using Style Master from WestCiv. It’s really helpful and the next version due out within a few months promises substantial improvements too. Now WestCiv bring us a new toy for our iPods.
The free Style Master CSS podGuide is a Complete CSS Guide for your iPod. It has an overview of CSS concepts, and in-depth information for every selector, property and @rule of CSS 2.1.
Now, of course, we need for WestCiv to give us a way of previewing our styles on an iPod Photo …
This morning I called in to Magnum Mac and was silly enough to look at the iPod Photo. That will definitely be on my shopping list next year once my bank account has recovered from the holiday down-time and Inland Revenue have received a rather large proportion of my annual income.
I was pleasantly surprised by the clarity of the display and the ease of the slideshow presentation. This would be very cool for looking at my favourite photos while away from my Mac.
I also chatted to a staff member who said trade in iPods and iPod accessories has been brisk. Certainly yesterday when I was strolling around town I noticed the white earbuds on what seemed like every fifth person.
New Zealand’s TradeMe auction site newsletter for December mentioned that iPod is the third most popular search term.
