Canon has a new educational website called Enjoy! Digital SLR Cameras (requires Flash). Tutorials help you to select the right exposure, frame subjects more creatively and so on. [Via Digital Photography Review.]

I just seem to struggle perpetually with my camera — it’s a lack of time, amongst other things. I also realised I needed real tutorials: not just which dial to turn to change the exposure (though that’s important) but also tutorials which answer real-life questions: how do I take a photo of a bird in a tree against the light. The first tutorial I picked was exactly about how to take photos of white swans on snow.

I’ll definitely be working through this one.
