Sometimes it seems that everybody except me complains about Apple’s one-button mouse. I’m actually fine with it, or would be if I used a mouse. I use a graphics tablet, and I confess, I do have the top switch programmed to pop up a menu, but it wouldn’t seriously annoy me to have only one switch. Maybe today, though, people will stop complaining (though I doubt it). Apple have introduced a mouse with a scroll ball and squeezable sides.

Apple – Mighty Mouse: Mighty Mouse features the revolutionary Scroll Ball that lets you move anywhere inside a document, without lifting a finger. And with touch-sensitive technology concealed under the seamless top shell, you get the programability of a four-button mouse in a single-button design. Click, roll, squeeze and scroll.

The Quicktime VR shows it to be a wired mouse with buttons on each side and a small ball incorporated into the top. Oh, and the specs say Windows users can use it too.
