Quick summary:
From today Tikouka will focus on Macs and other Apple products, technology, and web design. Tikouka Too — the Typepad mirror — has been renamed to Oddity 59. The address remains the same. Oddity 59 becomes a personal blog with posts about life in Wellington, New Zealand, sci-fi, photos, movies, TV, DVDs and anything at all which catches my interest.
Long version:
A couple of years ago I looked into Typepad and joined their service (it’s good). Experimentally, I simply mirrored my Tikouka blog and called the Typepad version Tikouka Too. I’ve been adding pretty much the same content to both, except for the occasional announcement which wasn’t relevant.
The experiment worked and I’m very happy with Typepad. Recently though the ‘duplicate’ arrangement has struck me as foolish, so as of today there are changes. Depending which blog you read and why you read it, you may wish to change your bookmarks, RSS feeds or whatever.
Tikouka will focus on Macs and other Apple products, technology, and web design. There may be an occasional post on other topics. By the way: TiKouka is pronounced roughly like tee coker — it’s the Maori name for the cabbage tree I can see from my office window.

There may be some overlap; there may be some grey areas; I may post some items to both blogs, but as of today they will essentially diverge.
And a reminder: I have a huge archive of Mac Tips and of Eudora Tips at my Tips website. I also have a Learning Centre with more than 60 articles and tutorials, though there are big changes afoot there too. It’s a little disorganised right now, and not as easy to use as it should be. It does contain more than 100,000 words (that’s about a 400 page book) and scores of screenshots, and there’s a lot of great information there.
Feel free to mention one or other (or all) of my blogs as you see fit.
Update October 2010: almost everything in this Post is now out of date. I’ve removed a few broken links. Take the rest with a grain of salt.
