Hmmm ProBlogger mentions the Blog Hui 2006 – New Zealand Blog Conference. New Zealand’s first international blog conference, March 17-18, 2006, Wellington, New Zealand. Theme: Activate!

There’s not a lot at the Conference website beyond a call for papers and presenters, an invitation to front up with registration money and a little info about three presenters. Some detective work leads me to believe the organiser is someone called Lynsey Gedye.

I may keep an eye on this as it could turn out to be interesting, but with zero information about the organisers I don’t find it very credible. Certainly not credible enough to be sending off money.

The requirements around submitting papers and the fact that there will be a PC with Powerpoint for presentations suggests this conference aims to be academic (oh, excuse me while I yawn). If this sounds like you, then check out the conference website.
