Maria Langer’s computer is ill — the other day it just wouldn’t start up so she took it in to be fixed.

But now we discover what technicians really do:

I got a message on my cell phone. The computer was fixed. I could pick it up. … But it worked just like it worked before it died. I don’t think they did much to it. Maybe a little smelling salts.
