Earthshine.

After hastily assembling two tripods, binoculars and camera I realised I had no idea what settings to use to get a great photo. None of my photos came out how I wanted them, but the picture here is a faint reminiscence of the glory.

Then as I observed for a while the dawn crept in, with birds swooping from tree to tree and one warbling away just a few metres from me. What a gorgeous way to start the day!

And to see a truly stunning photo of earthshine look at Drew Evans Astrophotography.
