Although I’m way ahead of all my friends I always feel as though I’m behind the curve on what’s happening on the web.

I’d seen some references to I can has cheezeburger? but had ignored them.

Then finally I looked, and while I love cats, and these pictures were funny, I thought I could live without this website in my feeds. The deliberately broken English is kind of amusing for a few minutes, but prolonged exposure seemed likely to just annoy me. Go take a quick look now, I’ll wait.

Then a friend pointed out a post on lolgeeks — i can has fun at nerds which is clearly a spin-off type of site. Again, funny. Again, with the broken English. Take a quick look.

So now I finally get to the point of this post: the absolutely hilarious retelling of the famous Star Trek (the Original Series) story called The Trouble with Tribbles at granades.com/2007/05/02/loltrek/.

You’ll need to have seen the cheezeburger page and have a passing familiarity with Star Trek, especially the Tribbles story to see the humour, but I found this to be laugh-out-loud material. It even manages a couple of passing references to good old “All your base are belong to us” (video).
