I’ve just added a bunch of articles to the Learning Centre:
- Google Search tricks
- Did you know Google can do more than just search? Work out currency; Calculate; Define words; Quickly search a particular site.
- Clickable web addresses
- Do people complain that links in your email messages don’t work? Using angle brackets may fix that.
- Try Open Source Software
- Open Source software is more collaborative, and anyone with programming skills can see how it’s put together, contribute code, improve on what’s there, add features they think are missing. Because it’s wide open, it is generally available free of charge.
- Check your links
- If your website links to outside sites then you have to watch out for ‘link rot’ — good links gone bad. It’s fine to use software for this, but you need a human eye too.
