Here at TiKouka you can read this blog, visit the archive of weekly MacTips, or spend a few hours in the Learning Centre. But while there’s a heap of information on this site about using Macs, you might want even more. My First Mac is a shiny new site offering help buying and getting started with your new Mac:

MyFirstMac.com as a home for new and prospective Mac owners, independent of Apple, Inc. A place where new Mac users can find comprehensive, unbiased information about using a Mac, and Mac Pros can share the years of wisdom they have acquired.

We also strive to create evergreen content that will be useful for a long time to come. It is our aim that My First Mac will become a reference site that provides answers for most common Mac issues. …

There is the Quick Scan section which gives you a short overview of the key points. Next, you’ll find an in-depth article followed by the Dig Deeper section where you can discover links to more information about the topic on other websites. Below the Quick Scan area you will also find articles on My First Mac related to the central article.

Excellent! I’m the renegade element at Fronde with the (not so) hidden agenda to introduce more macs at the office ( I am no. 1).

First victim down and getting his mac next week – I’ll forward this and your blog address.
