Apple: iPod Touch Reviewed (Verdict: Just Like the iPhone, But Slightly Better For Music):

The iPod touch, Apple’s gimped iPhone that’s just for music, sounds fantastic for people who want all of the iPhone’s music and video features and none of its calling ones.

[I'm guessing here that 'gimped' means 'crippled'.]

Yes, I do want those calling features. But, while I’d love to have an iPhone, this minute, here in New Zealand, it’s just not going to happen. In fact, I imagine it’ll be quite a while before all the telephony issues are sorted out. Meanwhile, my order’s in for the iPod Touch. I should have it in the first week of October — it’s due to ship 28 September.
