No sooner had I published today’s MacTip, Assign Applications to Leopard Spaces, than I read about:
Nifty AppleScripts from Jesse Newland for managing Spaces’s application assignments (e.g. “assign this app to space 2”). These scripts let you manage these assignments without going into the Spaces panel in System Prefs.
[Via Daring Fireball.]
Find the scripts at Spaces ‘Application Assignments’ and Applescript:
- Assign to All Spaces — assigns the frontmost window to all spaces.
- Assign to Space X — opens an input dialog asking you which space to assign the frontmost window to.
- Collect on Current Space — brings all windows from the frontmost appliation to the current space.
- Remove Assignments — remove any appliaction assignments the frontmost window may have.
