They install pumps to bring water up from underground in places where the women and girls would normally have to walk some distance every day for water. They aim to install the pumps in schools.

Then, and here’s the brilliant part, they add a children’s roundabout to work the pump. As the kids play they are pumping water up into a storage tank.

Everyone wins.

I think this is a great idea. Kids have so much energy. Why not tap into it in a fun way?
