I haven’t listed any DVDs on TradeMe for a long time, but as part of my mega clean-out most of my DVDs are going. I was reluctant to begin this process: locate the title, find a write-up, get a picture of the cover, enter various details, fill in all the stuff about classifications and region and so on. Sigh.

Sell a DVD. What a surprise! Right there on the DVDs & Movies page is a big ‘Sell a DVD’ button.

Click it and a search box appears on a new page. What’s more, it’s a smart search box that suggests titles as you type. Choose a title or finish typing and click Go, then a new page appears.

This page lists a load of details. This page lists a load of details, and provides cover art too. Lower down the page is a form where you specify condition, add any details, set prices and so on. After a quick confirmation of details on the next page, one more click makes the auction live.

Sooooo easy! Thank you TradeMe. I’m adding auctions at a fast clip.
