		<description>I haven&#039;t looked very hard at the two to compare. I&#039;ve noticed that some bloggers and video podcasters I respect are using Vimeo so wanted to just give it a whirl.

I was interested particularly because a client was asking about putting videos on a new blog they are creating. They have a need to restrict who sees the videos, and Vimeo does offer privacy settings. I&#039;m not sure if YouTube does...</description>

		<description>How is Vimeo different from YouTube? Looking at the source code, the video was added using an object element, which is basically what YouTube does. I looked at the Vimeo home page and it is certainly a cleaner looking site than YouTube, but I couldn&#039;t see much basic difference in what they are doing. Not that I&#039;m arguing in favor of YouTube, I&#039;m just trying to figure out if they are doing something different at Vimeo.</description>
