I was consulting iCal the other day while scheduling several appointments.
These days I tend to travel by bicycle if the weather’s fine, or by bus if it isn’t. Our bus goes once per hour during the day, and I generally need to remember to schedule meetings for a quarter past the hour, rather than on-the-hour, to fit with the bus timetable.
All of which made me think: I need to know the weather forecast when planning meetings. Surely I can see the weather in iCal?
And surely, we can.
After following the steps outlined in Macworld’s Add a weather forecast event to iCal my iCal is now sporting a very handy 5-day forecast.
Hmmm, rain for the next week or so. Looks like I’ll be catching the bus.

Being the ‘geeky’ granny that I am, adding the weather forecast to my iCal was a great hint for me! Thank you.
Unfortunately the weather forecast for my town is ‘chance of rain’ for the next week!
