WordCamp New Zealand

I give a presentation at WordCamp NZ. It’s about building communities, using WordPress.

Today and tomorrow we have the first New Zealand WordCamp, here in Wellington.

I’m giving a presentation this morning at around 10.30 officially called Building Communities with WordPress, though actually it’s called From There to here. It’s about how my partner, her Zen teacher and I created 3 Online Virtual Retreats.

Matt Mullenweg’s being interviewed by Kim Hill this morning at around 8.30 on Radio New Zealand. Listen live or download the podcast later.

How to backup your WordPress website. Remember too, that I’m offering a free ebook called How WordPress is put together, and another called How to backup your WordPress website (US$4.75), in my online store.

These books are designed for those new to WordPress, and in particular for the clients of web developers who use WordPress.

There’s a special deal available only to those attending WordCamp — ask me while you’re there for details.

Also I have a couple of copies of the book Maria Langer and I wrote in 2006 for sale: WordPress 2 Visual Quickstart Guide.

I hope to see some of you soon.

I’m delighted that you mentioned the way we’re creating a virtual Zen community through setting up Virtual Retreats.
I love your new WP eBooks, Miraz! I’d love to see them get wide recognition.
