I myself would be willing to pay for a forum that will tell me exactly what the next big online business will be so I can get started much earlier than I did last year! Blog sites and clickbank is getting to be passe and less lucrative.

This year,
Google Wave will become useful.
Twitter will keep growing.
Facebook will do something mean to users rights.
Microsoft will loose market share in most of it sells.
HTML5 will make web2.0 easy.
NZ will not with the rugby world cup.
World War Z will be the best zombie movie of the year.
And finally, yellow will become more popular and people shy away from red.

In the Wellington/NZ/the universe category
2010 will be the year that NZ reconceptualizes its identity:
- from small and at the edge of the world to pivotal between the emerging drivers of south-east asia and south america
- from a small country (land mass) to a vast country (land above the sea + maritime environment – 97% of NZ’s exclusive economic zone is our sea/underwater environment)
- from geographic to values centered in the virtual world (people become virtual NZers)
- Wellington becomes the frontier & then the hub of the 3D ‘printing’ revolution because we’re tech savvy & up for it
