I thought it was Fn + Return that gives "Enter". Keyboard Viewer on my late 2006 MBP confirms that: Fn is the only thing that modifies return into enter. Note that the file renaming thing isn't a valid test, since both return AND enter are shortcuts for "rename" in Finder. Shift + Return?
