Spain’s National Organization for the Blind has helped develop a personal navigator called “Tormes” equipped with a Braille keyboard, a GPS receiver and a voice synthesizer. It provides verbal directions to blind people, guiding them to their destination or giving immediate feedback on their surroundings. [via Wired News]
