Use the built-in DigitalColor Meter of OS X (located in the //applications/utilities/ folder) to isolate a color from any window or application open on your screen. There are output options for the color, and the CMD+Shift+C key chord will copy the color for pasting into your CSS document. [Via: webgraphics]
