Earlier this year I kept exceeding my measly 1Gb limit on traffic per month. I stopped downloading large items such as movie trailers and other fun items, switched on a server-side spam filter (very efficient) and set Eudora to not download anything over 20Kb. Those measures all helped.
Then about 10 days ago relief appeared in the shape of new pricing plans from my cable provider. Because of the way they structure their pricing it’s almost impossible to figure out how much anything will cost or whether it’s cheaper, but I now have 5Gb per month and I think it’s costing me less. I guess I’ll find out when the statement arrives in the mail. I’ve already celebrated by grabbing a couple of movie trailers.
