I was just messing around yesterday, trying out different settings on the camera and not paying any attention to composition and the like. I rather like the effect which happened in this picture taken at Seatoun, Wellington. It was 9.52 am, aperture F18 at 1/640th of a second and with -2 exposure bias. The darkness appeals in particular. Click on the thumbnail to get a larger version in a pop-up window.
