Earlier this year I was working on a major rewriting project for the Office for the Community and Voluntary Sector’s Good Practice Funding website, which was launched yesterday. My job was to take text written for print and make it more appropriate for delivery via web to public servants as the primary audience.
This website is modeled after, and a companion to, the Good Practice Participate site which shares the target audience.
The Funding website distils the funding principles and processes of government agencies in New Zealand and overseas. It is a key tool for improving government agency funding practice and is primarily for officials, advisors, and managers involved in funding policy and practice. They also expect people from community, voluntary and Maori organisations to visit the site.
