Even England has a few rare locations with dark sky, one of them being Kielder Forest, which now sports a new observatory for both professional and amateur astronomers. It’s sooo nice to hear that Geordie accent.
Unfortunately the Observatory’s website is fairly sucky, but if you’re in the UK it could be fun to visit the facility.
