I’ve made a very interesting discovery over the last few years, since I started to revive an ancient interest in astronomy: it’s possible to predict Wellington’s weather by astronomical events.
Lunar eclipse: cloudy.
Closest approach of an interesting celestial body: rainy.
Comets: cloud and wind.
Other phenomena: mist and or fog.
And on those rare occasions when the weather’s perfect — I’m out of town or just too darned exhausted.
