I hadn’t realised when Amelia Nurse from Radio NZ and I went for a walk along Oriental Parade the other day that the interview she was recording would be mostly of me talking. Maybe it’s because we didn’t come across too many other people walking dogs that day… Thank goodness there was one other person who got a word in, talking about his dog Muffy, a Bichon Poodle cross.
Anyway, I talked about Run Spot Run, dogs, exercise, off-leash areas and more:
Dogs are part of many of our families, and we love them. But they take a lot of care. And exercise. With around ten thousand dogs in Wellington alone, that means a lot of designated dog exercise area. Miraz Jordan runs a website called Run Spot Run which lists and reviews dog exercise areas in the region. Amelia Nurse joins Miraz and her dogs for a stroll along Oriental Parade on a typically windy Wellington day.
